Beginning Floral Design Class for Youth

On July 24 at noon, Cowlitz County Master Gardeners Kristen Buchanan will discuss the basics of flower arrangement. Students will learn how to combine form, color, style, and balance into a beautiful display. Following the presentation, youth will design their own display. Class size is limited to 24 youth ages 6-12. The cost of the class is $5.00 per student. Classes will be held at the fairgrounds during fair. Fair admission is free. You must pre-registrar and pay by July 20. The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners. This is a great opportunity for youth to learn the basics of floral design and create an entry for the fair.
