4-H/ FFA Market Sale

Hello Market Sale Youth, Families and Leaders!

We are moving forward with the Cowlitz County Market Sale for 2021!  That means all youth wanting to participate will need to submit an Intent to Sell. Our Intent to Sell forms will be a Google Form again this year. Here is a link to the form:

You can also access this link, or print out a form to mail to us, on the Exhibitor page on our website, www.cowlitzmsc.orgALL INTENTS ARE DUE BY MARCH 5th, 2021. Please have them submitted or postmarked by this date.

Because of social distancing guidelines we are still working out dates for weigh-in for beef, swine, goat and sheep. We will email out dates as soon as we have them.

Quality Assurance will occur again this year.  We have two options to complete this mandatory course.  You can attend an in-person class on April 18 or 25. (for 4-H members the in person classes will depend on whether WSU 4-H allows face to face. This class will not have a fee and as we get closer to these dates we will send out more information. The other option is to complete the online class that we’ve had for the past 2 years. This online course costs $12 and the link is

https://yqca.learngrow.io/Account/Login . Those that did their Quality Assurance class last year online will not need to take a course for this year.

We also want to remind you of the Janet White Scholarship available to market youth. The purpose of the Janet White Scholarship is to provide help with the purchase of a market animal or for help with feed expenses associated with the animal. Scholarships may be awarded to youth who complete the application and interview process. More information is available at our website on the Exhibitor page.
