Growing Healthy Roses in the PNW workshop

It’s not easy growing beautiful roses in our rainy climate, but help is on the way! On Feb. 29 from 9am-noon,  Rose expert and OSU Master Gardener Katherine Johnson will take us step-by-step through what it takes to have healthy, gorgeous roses. She will also demonstrate pruning techniques and answer any questions you may have. Admission to the workshop is $5.  Please register and pay before the class with  Carlee Dowell at 577-3014 Ext 0 or DowellC@co.cowlitz.wa.us The workshop is located at the Cowlitz Training Center, 1942 1st. Ave, Longview–In the back of the  parking lot of the Hall of Justice courthouse, up on the dike. The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.
