“Hands on Garden Herbs”

Jr. Gardener Workshop for Kids (K-5 grade)

 

Calling all detectives!!  On August 12 at 2:00 – 4:00 pm, WSU Master Gardeners will be hosting a program for kids (K-5 grade).  Learn to identify herbs by sight and smell. Explore the garden and collect herbs to take home. Make a lavender wand, herb sachets, and make nature paint brushes!  Come with questions. Come with curiosity.  This free class will be held in the Floral Building at the Cowlitz County Fairgrounds in Longview and is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.  Registration is limited to 30 youth. For more information or to register, contact Lisa Huckleberry at 577-3014 Ext 0 or huckleberryl@co.cowlitz.wa.us.
