An Autumn Morning in the Garden with WSU Master Gardeners

October 11, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Bee on straw flowerEnjoy an autumn morning in the garden at the WSU Master Gardener Demonstration Garden in Elma. Master Gardeners invite you to gather seeds from the many colorful flowers and tasty vegetables from their garden.

Come at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, to the garden, which is located at the fairgrounds in Elma. Remember those flowers you fell in love with when you visited the garden during the fair? You’ll learn how to harvest their seeds and package them up to store away till next spring’s planting time. Here’s a bonus: these will make pleasing gifts for your fellow gardener friends.

There is no charge for the event and no need to preregister. Just come to the garden to gather seeds!

This is a rain-or shine event, so dress accordingly.

Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and special needs who contact Toni Gwin, WSU Extension, P.O. Box 88, South Bend, WA 98586, 360 875-9331; at least two weeks prior to the event.

WSU Extension programs and employment are available without discrimination. Evidence of noncompliance may be reported through your local WSU Extension office.
