IPM for the Home Garden
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective, environmentally sensitive approach that uses multiple strategies to manage pests with minimal risk to people and the environment. Join Adam Romero, longtime Master Gardener and Associate Professor at the University of Washington Bothell, as he shares practical, inspiring ways home gardeners can reduce pest problems and grow healthier plants.
Adam Romero thinks a lot about pesticides. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Bothell where he researches the histories of agriculture and industrial chemicals. Adam has been a Master Gardener for 13 years and strives to grow as much food as possible at his house in the Cascade foothills.
