OPRAA Community Forum – Thurs March 1st *New*
Olympic Peninsula Regenerative Agricultural Alliance is organizing a community forum to discuss the County’s Comprehensive Plan.  OPRAA states, “right now Jefferson County is deciding on it’s 20 Year Comprehensive Plan. This Spring the plan will be finalized. These decisions will effect our future”  The OPRAA hopes to follow up on a policy discussion at the Farmer’s Convergence in December 2017, at which many producers shared their challenges with current regulations.  OPRAA says the county commissioners and others involved in the planning process will be invited to hear suggestions on how they can support local farms and regional food security.
