4-H Summer Camp

Save the date for summer camp: July 11-16, 2026

Registration for 4-H Club Members enrolled by December 1 will open on March 1.

Looking for some adventure blended with a traditional camping experience? Campers spend the week enjoying a myriad of activities, including swimming, hiking, arts, music, cooking, and making new friends! Awaken to birds singing and fall asleep to the stars (or exhaustion). Bring your positive energy and your sense of adventure!

2026 Camp Information

Dates: July 11-16, 2026
Cost: $250
Registration: Opens on March 1 for 4-H Club members enrolled by December 1 who are 8 years old (must have turned 8 on/before October 1 of the current 4-H year) through 8th grade (14 years old). Please register online using 4HOnline and bring your payment to the WSU Extension office to reserve your spot.

  • March 1 – March 25: Registration is open for 4-H members who were enrolled by December 1
  • March 26 – April 15: Registration is open to 4-H members who were enrolled by April 1 (if space is available)
  • April 16 – until full (or 6/15): Registration is open for additional 4-H participants (if space is available)

Spot is not guaranteed until youth are registered and paid in full. Youth who are not yet 4-H members may enroll approximately one month before camp, if additional spots are available. If you are new to 4-H, and missed the April 1 enrollment deadline, you may begin the enrollment process and submit your $25 fee, which will not be collected until additional camper spots become available. Please note; the camp event will not be available to you and you will not be able to register for camp until your 4-H member enrollment is approved and $25 WA State enrollment fee is received. Please enroll early to reserve your spot as the $25 enrollment fee is non-refundable should camp become full.

Required Steps for Youth Staff

*Teens, 9th grade and older, complete 16-32 hours of training and, if chosen, are youth staff for the week.

  • Step 1: Visit 4HOnline to complete the 4-H enrollment process by December 1, and pay the $25 enrollment fee.
  • Step 2: Complete the “4-H Summer Camp Teen Leader Application” and return it by Monday, February 10 to the Counselor Coordinator (Kevin) or to the WSU Extension office.
  • Step 3: Attend the monthly camp counselor training sessions that run from December to July. Please check Facebook for dates, enrolled members will also get an email regarding camp dates and deadlines, if they are opted in to receive them.
  • Step 4:  Once training is underway – register for the camp event by logging back in to and you have been chosen as a camp counselor – register for camp, by logging back in to 4HOnline and add the “Summer Camp – GH & Mason Counties” event. This process is mandatory to update your health files.

Required Forms for Adult Volunteer Chaperones

  • Step 1: Visit 4HOnline to complete the 4-H enrollment process by October 1, and pay the $25 enrollment fee.
  • Step 2: Attend staff training and informational meetings via Zoom with the 4-H Volunteer Camp Director to meet the statewide training requirements. Attending the counselor training sessions are a great way to qualify for your 8 hours of mandatory training. 
  • Step 3:  Once training is complete  – register for camp, by logging back in 4HOnline and add the “Summer Camp – GH & Mason Counties” event. This process is mandatory to update your health files.
