Record Book Contest is Back!
The Pierce County 4-H Leaders Council and the Fruitland Grange are once again holding a Record Book Contest beginning in the 2025/2026 4-H Program Year. The 4-H Record Books will be collected at the Fall Leaders Meeting on October 8, 2026 or they can be turned into the 4-H Office no later than October 15th. The Record Books will then be turned over to the Fruitland Grange Members for judging. Results will be available by the middle of November. Record Books will be available for pick up at Teen Rally on November 14th at WSU Puyallup Research and Extension Center. Prizes will be presented by the Fruitland Grange.

2027 Super Saturday Call for Proposals
The 2027 Pierce County 4-H Super Saturday is tentatively scheduled for January 30, 2027, at Franklin Pierce High School. We are now looking adults and senior 4-H members to submit proposals for workshops they would like to instruct. Proposals are due by December 10, 2026. Workshops are 50 minutes long and default to 25 attendees, but the size can be limited by the instructor. There are three types of workshops offered at Super Saturday: training and Life Skills, Fun and project based, and continuing adult education and parent information. We would like to see workshops offered by the larger project areas. Each instructor is able to instruct a maximum of three workshops and can be reimbursed for up to $40.00 per workshop for supplies. Instructors will be provided a quiet place to plan and relax as well as morning snacks and lunch.

2026 Teen Rally
Calling all teens! The 2026 Teen Rally will be held November 14-15 at WSU Puyallup REC, 2606 West Pioneer. This event is for teens 13-18 years of age and approved members in a 4-H club. The fee for the weekend is $65 and covers meals and program supplies. Teens can opt to spend the night, come for the day on Saturday and return on Sunday, or just come for the day on Saturday. The program will include four workshop sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday. Workshops will include officer training, life skills, cooking, judging, skill-a-thon and many others. The popular photo scavenger hunt returns this year along with group activities and team building activities. Registration is now open in 4HOnline Event Registrations.
