4-H Year Registration Begins Oct. 1

The 4HOnline system will open on October 1st, for enrollment for the new 4-H year. Once your membership is approved, you’ll be ready to participate in 4-H projects, club meetings, and a wide range of activities.

Patch for the PC Fair 2026

All enrolled 4-H members are covered by accident insurance. Certified volunteers are also protected through L&I Insurance and liability coverage provided by Washington State University while they are leading or supervising 4-H programs.

Claim Your 3rd commemorative 2026 4-H Fair Series Patch!

The first 500 members and leaders approved for the new program year will receive a limited-edition 2026 commemorative patch featuring the Pierce County Fair theme:
“Pirates of the FaiRibbean”

Don’t miss out—these patches are part of our special 4-H Fair Series and will be mailed directly to recipients once approved!


Cloverbud Monthly Meet-Up

📍 Rabbit Barn, Frontier Park, Graham

This month’s theme is Welcome to 4-H!” — a great introduction for kids ages 5–7 to explore 4-H through fun, hands-on activities. Cloverbuds build social skills, make new friends, and learn about the exciting project areas 4-H offers. New and returning member are welcome. RSVP to Shelley Friend

We’re excited to announce that the 2025 Pierce County 4-H Teen Rally is just around the corner! Registration opens October 10 via 4HOnline

Saturday, November 15, 2025 @ WSU Puyallup Research and Extension Center
This year’s rally is shaping up to be a fun-filled day with:
✨ Hands-on crafts
💡 Leadership sessions
🎯 Engaging group activities
🌙 And an optional overnight stay for even more fun and connection!

Cost: $ 50 – Day Only $65 with Overnight Option Don’t miss this great opportunity to build friendships, grow leadership skills, and make lasting memories with other 4-H teens from Pierce County.


Animal Certification Reminder

As you enroll in 4honline, don’t forget to re-certify all animals in 4HOnline. Market animals used again must be reentered each year. List all the animals you are planning to take to the fair now – so you’re ready for FairEntry next summer! Dog members need to check the fine print on Fields to see where to enter their dog’s breed.


Pierce County Government Volunteer Recognition Brunch Logo

Do you know a senior youth or adult leader who goes above and beyond for your club or project? Pierce County is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Volunteer Awards!

Selected volunteers will receive a certificate, small gift, and an invitation to a special brunch on April 11, 2026, where they’ll be honored by the County Executive and Council Chair. Nominators are also invited to attend the free brunch.

To nominate someone, send their name and a brief description of their service to Mike Seiber.

Request to Use Buildings at Frontier Park

The Pierce County Fairgrounds at Frontier Park has buildings available for 4-H clubs and projects to use free of charge. The buildings must be reserved at least one week in advance by filling out the online form and submitting it. The buildings are only available during regular park hours. Schedule your meeting so you have time to clean up and pack so members and leaders can leave the park before the park closes.

The tentative date for the 2026 Pierce County 4-H Super Saturday is January 31, 2026.  If you or someone you know would like to share your knowledge and skills, become an instructor.  Instructors can be leaders, parents, outside experts, or senior youth leaders.  To lead a workshop at Super Saturday, fill out the Call for Workshop Proposal form.  Each instructor is limited to three topics.
