Our LEGO Mechanics kit teaches basic physical science concepts and can be used as a starting point to introduce concepts that are used in our other LEGO sets. Included is an assortment of gears, wheels, axles, levers, and pulleys. Included curriculum instructs students to build and test a variety of simple machines. Kit includes instructions for four types of machines including a car and a catapult. Multiple kits are available for check-out.
Age Level: 7+; 2nd-5th grade
Time: 1+ hours. Can be extended by building multiple activities or going in depth.
