Motion Commotion! Learn about the physics behind car collisions with this interactive kit. This kit contains two different activities that explore the science of speed, momentum, and kinetic energy. Stop & Go Science explores car collisions and the types of factors that govern safety. We Need More Time investigates the human factors of these collisions by measuring reaction times.
Age Level: 7-10; 2nd-5th grade
Time: 45-90 minutes. Time dependent on how many investigations are done.
Applications: Physics, Newton’s Laws of Motion
