Planning Your Garden

May 30 @ 10:00 am 11:30 am

This program will allow the children to plant in the children’s area of the garden and plant something to take home.  They will discuss how seeds grow and what plants need to thrive.  We are bringing out the microscopes to examine seeds and how they get their food.  What is photosynthesis?  It is the process of converting light energy to chemical energy and storing it in the bonds of sugar.  A simple diagram is at right.  The kiddos will have fun making a garden marker and becoming seeds on the move. We hope you can join us!
