Plan, Shop, Save Cook (PSSC) is a nutrition curriculum developed by the University of California’s CalFresh Nutrition Education Program and based on a lesson from Eating Smart • Being Active.

PSSC program is 4, 60-minute lessons that focus on food budgeting strategies while also making nutritious food choices.

Lesson topics include:

  • Planning Meals
  • Understanding Food Labels
  • Saving Money
  • Cooking a Meal
