Completed Record Books & Year-End Award Nominations Due
- 4-H members (Junior, Intermediate, and Senior) wishing to receive their 2014/2015 4-H year pins are required to turn in a completed 4-H Record Book no later than Thursday, October 1st, @ 4:00pm to the Mason County WSU Extension Office. NO EXCEPTIONS! 4-H members must turn in a 2015 4-H Year Completion Pin Request Form with their 4-H Record Book. They may also use this form to nominate themselves for a 4-H Project Recognition Medal. This form must be completed by the member; including the reason that the member believes they should receive a medal.
- There are also forms for leaders to use to nominate members for 2015 4-H Recognition Medals, and 2015 Sportsmanship Awards. Record Books are not required for these leader nominated awards.
- Record Books will be checked for completion. If the Record Book committee finds that a record book is not complete, that member will not receive a year-end pin or be eligible for 4-H Recognition medals. Recognition medals will be awarded at the Harvest of Hope Achievement Event.
- Primary 4-H members (K-2nd grade) are not required to turn in a 4-H Record Book to receive year-end pins and they are not eligible for 4-H Recognition medals (per Washington State 4-H policy). Leader’s who have Primary members wishing to receive their year-end pin, must complete and turn in the enclosed 2015 Primary 4-H Member Year-End Pin Request form. They may also receive a recognition certificate at the awards ceremony at Harvest of Hope Achievement Event.
