As Mason County 4-H moves into its third year without a county fair it is very evident that the fair participation experience is truly missed by the 4-H families enrolled in our program. There have been a lot of questions and suggestions about possible changes for our program in 2017 surrounding the lack of a fair and possible options for youth members to participate in qualifying events. Please join us for a discussion as we look at options for Mason County 4-H members to participate in State 4-H Fair qualifying events. Options that have been suggested include partnering with other local county fairs, hosting an event at Panhandle, and continuing with the 4-H Extravaganza. These decisions affect our entire 4-H community and we need your input as we move into the new 4-H year.
