4-H Internship for Recent Snohomish County 4-H Graduates

Gain Real-World Work Experience with 4-H Staff!

Position Description

Who?

Young adults who have graduated from 4-H in the past three years in Snohomish County. Must be a high school graduate by summertime.

Candidates must have concluded their 4-H member experience by summer (i.e. not participating in the upcoming county fair)

When?

  • For six weeks during the summer, ten hours (approx) per week
  • Flexible schedule (Do not need to be consecutive weeks)
  • Applications accepted through May 15th.

Where?

Various location throughout Snohomish County.  Office work will be based at the Willis Tucker Park administration building in Snohomish.

Why?

To gain real work experiences, references, and an insider’s view of 4-H administration!

Whom would I be working with?

Any/All of the 4-H staff in Snohomish County: Ashley, Kim, Beth, and Helen

Compensation?

Interns will receive a stipend of $1000 for their 60-hour internship.

Application Deadline

The first round of applications will be evaluated after March 15th. Submit an application by March 15th to be considered in the first round.

If a position remains available, a second round of applications will be considered after May 15th.
