“Raising Livestock 101” Offered this fall by the WSU Livestock Advisor Program in person at Stanwood High School.

Integrate livestock onto your farm, improve your forage production, raise stress free healthy livestock while minimizing your costs and maximizing production gains.

A recent graduate shared, “becoming a WSU Livestock Advisor has connected me to a knowledgeable network of livestock owners in the surrounding areas, which has been helpful to me when I have encountered health issues or concerns with my livestock.”

Cost of the 10-week course is $125 with a second person from the farm or family free. Classes begin September 26, 2023, at Stanwood High School, Stanwood WA. from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Participants are asked to return 40 hours of volunteer time over a two-year period, crafting the experience to match their availability and interests.
