WSU IAREC 24106 North Bunn Road, Prosser, WA 99350, USA, Prosser

Pre-Registration is required for this event. Spanish Translation will be available. This full day course qualifies for 7- WA. State Pesticide Credits. Spraying is one of the highest pre-harvest costs for a vineyard. Doing it poorly can lead to increased disease and insect pressure and even unusable fruit. Technologies exist to optimize coverage and increase data acquisition during spraying, but users must know how to use the tools. This workshop will teach proper calibration and optimization of sprayers and introduce BMP’s of technologies that include rate controllers, directed and/or over-the-row sprayers, intelligent sprayers, and adaptations to airblast sprayers that improve coverage.
