4-H Awards and Recognition: 4-H Achievement Day is Saturday, October 1
The annual 4-H Achievement Day will be held on Saturday, October 1from 5pm to 7pm at the Goldendale Grange (new hall). Dinner will be provided beginning at 5pm. Spaghetti, bread and salad will be served. Each 4-H family is asked to bring a dozen cookies for refreshments.
All 4-H members, their parents and families and 4-H leaders are encouraged to attend this recognition event. Even if 4-H members did not submit a record book to be considered for county awards judging, 4-H clubs are encouraged to attend and present a short summary of what their members did during the past year. Contact Linda Enderby at 509-773-3381 if your club would like to present a report. This is a great time to recognize and celebrate all the great things Klickitat County youth and leaders have accomplished this year!
4-H Leader recognition and appreciation will also take place at this event to honor 4-H volunteers for their years of service so plan to attend and help us celebrate.
Exhibits that went to 4-H State Fair will be available for pickup as well as record books and other 4-H exhibits that were not picked up after county fair.
