General Information

Klickitat County is a rural county that depends on community involvement and partnerships for its way of life. WSU Klickitat County Extension works with community organizations to create opportunities for its citizens.

The WSU Klickitat County Extension office has both print and online educational resources in a variety of subjects.  Our extensive curriculum library covers nearly every possible project in the 4-H Youth Development program and most are available for check-out by the public.

WSU Extension offers a variety of in-depth volunteer training programs. Each program consists of 25 to 60 hours of education. In return, volunteers pay back the same number of hours within the year, helping consumers in the community. This can be done a number of ways, depending on the interests and skills of the volunteers. For more information contact us.
