Pathways to Prosperity Conference

May 9, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Attend Washington Rural Pathways to Prosperity, a conference held simultaneously at sites across the state, including at a convenient location near you!

For the past year the State of Washington has been highlighting career connected learning and its importance to our workforce. Last May Governor Inslee held a Career Connected Learning Summit with 855 participants at 26 sites around the state facilitated by WSU Extension. This P2P conference dovetails the summit, focusing on rural youth workforce development.

Workforce development is a statewide issue that our communities in every county are trying to solve, and this is one avenue to leverage your Extension work at a local level.

The conference is free, and scheduled for May 9 from 9:00 am to noon at over 20 sites across the state! The event flyer for Pathways to Prosperity Conference on Career Connected Learning introduces the statewide guest speakers who will deliver a message via technology; but most of the day will be spent in conversation around youth workforce issues and solutions specific to each of their regions. Your participation can add value to the local discussion.

There is no cost, but registration will be requested. You are welcome to spread the word to others who you think should be there.
