Sheep and Goat Pre-show / Weigh-in, 6-7pm
The Sheep and Goat pre-show / weigh-in will be held on Sunday, June 12 from 3pm to 6pm and an additional time slot on Monday, June 13 from 6pm to 7pm at the Klickitat County Fairgrounds. Shearing for lambs will only be available on Sunday, June 12. 4-H members must be properly enrolled in the project prior to the weigh-in. Call the Extension office you have any questions. The 2016 Klickitat County 4-H Youth Horse Camp is coming! It is open to all youth (with their horse) who are in grades 3 through 12 (school year just completed). The purpose of the Horse Camp is to prepare youth for showing in their county and state 4-H fairs or just improve their horsemanship skills. Riders will have showmanship and three riding classes each day for $150. Registrations postmarked by June 21 will also receive a 2016 4-H Horse-O-Polis T-shirt.…

State Qualifying Events for 4-H Horse Project The 4-H Western Games State Qualifier is scheduled for Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Klickitat County Fairgrounds in Goldendale. Registration opens at noon. Showmanship will begin at 1pm. There will be only one showmanship qualifying opportunity. Gaming qualifying events will follow.
