Know Your Government
Know Your Government (KYG) is a four-year rotating civic education program covering the Legislative System,

Judicial System, Elections and Party Platforms, and Politics and the Media. But KYG is about much more than understanding government structures.
KYG—and 4-H—focus on building the life skills teens need to become responsible citizens and capable adults. The conference gives delegates a chance to practice these skills, apply what they’ve learned in new situations, and reflect on their growth. Pre-conference meetings help teens prepare for the experience.
Teen Conference in Pullman – June
High-school–aged teens (8th grade completed and up) are invited to Washington State University’s Pullman campus each June for the Washington State 4-H Teen Conference.
Highlights include touring WSU’s beautiful campus, staying in dorms, dining on campus, and exploring career pathways through workshops and tours. Teens will get support with college and scholarship preparation, choosing majors, and exploring career options. The conference also features leadership development, service projects, team-building activities, and plenty of FUN!
