Step-by-Step

  1. Fill out application
  2. Once we receive your application we will check your references, and your club leader will reach out to schedule an interview with you.
  3. In the meantime, we will send you instructions for some required online trainings
    • LOGIN and “create new account”
    • Select “4-H & Youth” & Washington Complete the following courses:
      • “Put the Child First” using enrollment key SNOHOMISH4H
      • All “Washington 4-H Volunteer Orientation Modules, using enrollment key SNOHOMISH
      • EP-14:  Protection and Safety of Minors, using enrollment key EP14SN4H
    • Notify snoco.4h@wsu.edu when complete
  4. Background check: We will send you instructions for initiating your background screening, paid for by WSU and good for three years.
  5. You will need to create a profile for yourself and enroll as a volunteer in 4-H Online.
  6. We will notify you, your club leader, and staff when you are eligible for approval as a volunteer.  You are an official, enrolled volunteer only when your enrollment in 4-H Online has been approved.
