The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) supports parents and youth in building skills for healthy, active lives. When you join an EFNEP class, you will learn new recipes to share with your family, tips to save money on groceries, and how to set goals to eat better and be more active. Classes are fun, interactive, and free!

Who can join?

We teach youth classes for students in 3rd through 12th grade at schools where at least half of students are enrolled in free- and reduced-price lunches. Ask your teacher if we can teach in your class.

Adult classes are for

  1. anyone who takes care of children at home or expects to have their first child soon, and
  2. participates in programs like WIC, SNAP/EBT, Head Start/ECEAP or School Meals.

Adult classes are available in English and Spanish.
