Demonstration Garden

Demonstration Garden Information:

Directions: Take Exit 39 off I-5 (Kelso/Longview Exit).

Follow Allen Street west through downtown Kelso and across the Allen Street Bridge.

Enter the left turn lane and turn left onto 1st Avenue. Go 3 blocks and turn right onto Washington Street.

Go 3½ blocks, turn left to entrance to Cowlitz Exposition Center (formerly the Fairgrounds).

The garden is on the left of the entrance.

Hours: Grounds are open 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

    • Washington State University Cooperative Extension - Master Gardener Demonstration Garden
    • Entrance to WSU Extension Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden.
    • Raised bed with purple Spring Crocus.
    • Raised beds maintained by Master Gardener volunteers.
    • Grapes and blueberries can be found growing amongst the beautiful flowers in the Demonstration Garden.
    • Plant information cards help visitors learn about the different plants found in the Demonstration Garden.
    • A garden with a white trellis entrance.
    • Plant informational signs are located throughout the Demonstration Garden.
    • Master Gardeners enjoying time in the Demonstration Garden.
