Kitsap Salmon Tours

Bring family and friends to celebrate the return of salmon to Kitsap streams at these FREE events! We have seven opportunities this year to join salmon experts and docents to witness the culmination of the salmon lifecycle.

“Salmon make an amazing journey from streams in Kitsap County, out to the ocean for several years, and then back to the same stream where they spawn and give life to the next generation of salmon,” says Pat Kirschbaum, Education and Outreach Coordinator for Kitsap County. “Many people visit their local creek every fall and watch for salmon. The return of salmon is one of nature’s wonders.”

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Some sites involve a hike to the stream.
