4-H Horse Certificates due by 5:00 p.m.

A Horse Identification Certificate needs to be filed for each horse being carried as a 4-H Horse Project with the Extension Office by 5:00 p.m., April 30 to be eligible to exhibit the animal in the Junior Division of the Kittitas County Fair.  The certificates need to be signed every year.  For a horse that will be used for the first time the leader or member may pick up a 4-H Horse Certificate CO233 form at the Extension Office.  This needs to be filled out and brought back to the Extension Office to be signed.  The member will keep the original white copy and put it in their record book.  If this same horse is used in following years the white original copy needs to come in each year to be signed at the Extension Office.  If a horse is leased then a Kittitas County Lease form must be used.  A copy of the lease is to be filed with the horse certificate.

Horse Certificates need to be completely filled out with all the proper signatures signed.  Incomplete certificates will not be accepted or signed if they are not complete when brought into the Extension Office.
