Objectives
Shooting sports aims to teach responsibility and safety. Members have the opportunity to compete in multiple events to demonstrate precision and accuracy. These events include: Archery (recurve & compound), Air Rifle (precision shooting), .22 Rifle (precision shooting), and Shotgun (trap, skeet, five stand, sporting clays). A few of the objectives for Shooting Sports are:
- practice safe and responsible use of firearms
- understand the operations, functions, and fundamentals of firearms
- understand the principles of wildlife management
- develop marksmanship and ethical behavior
