Green Up Your Lawn

MASTER GARDENER PROGRAM — Workshops & Events

Now is the right time to give your lawn some TLC to help it grow thick and almost weed-free. Master Gardeners will discuss watering, aerating, overseeding and fertilizing, all of which promote denser turf and reduce weed germination. With these approaches, you can save money and protect your family and the environment at the same time. Participants will receive a lawn-care calendar for our region, tips for choosing the right grass seed mix, and information about applying and buying fertilizers. Dress for the weather and bring water. Bring a lawn chair if you prefer to sit.

This is a collaboration with Clark County Public Works Clean Water with funding from Washington State Department of Ecology, for “What’s Your Lawn Style?”
