FREESmall Acreage Stewardship Tours:
The Small Acreage Program of WSU Clark County Extension hosts a small acreage stewardship tour. This is a in-person tour of two residences. The first begins at 10am at a residence in Battle Ground, WA. Learn about composting manure, stormwater drainage, and learn about wildlife habitat along the Salmon Creek from wildlife specialist Ashley Smithers of Clark Conservation District.
Enjoy lunch under a beautiful covered-bridge over Salmon Creek.
Then join us for the second tour in NE Vancouver, WA at 1pm of a horse, goat, and sheep small acreage with a pond. Learn about animal husbandry, composting manure, septic systems, and wildlife habitat on a pond.
