What: Soil Health and Lime Application on Pastures Demonstration

Who: Anyone interested in land stewardship practices and most relevant to rural residents with pastures, livestock, or field crops
Where: Rural residence at La Center, WA

Local rural residents offer a demonstration of spreading lime on pastures with both a manure spreader and spinner application methods and will discuss using other methods, as well.

They will also show how they build healthy soil in their gardens, reduce mud and erosion in their horse dry lot, paddock, and pastures, and much more. The tour is free, please sign up in advance.

 

NOTE: There will be a Land Stewardship Tour at a residence in Brush Prairie which will highlight riparian forest restoration and beautiful landscaping and water features and more. This tour will take place from 1:30pm-2:30pm this same day. So grab some lunch in between on your way, as you are invited and encouraged to attend both events.
