Adult Curriculum
Washington State EFNEP uses the 2017 “Eating Smart – Being Active” (ESBA) curriculum from Colorado State University-Extension.
Hands On
The ESBA curriculum is used in Washington State as a nine-lesson series. Each lesson is facilitated by a paraprofessional educator and includes a food preparation and interactive exploration of lesson content. Participants will build shopping lists, practice simple muscle strengthening exercises, build confidence preparing foods, and demonstrate food safety.
