A note about Pressure Canner Testing: For those wishing to get their pressure gauge tested, the appointment will include a visual inspection of the pressure canner’s integrity, gasket, pressure release plug, corrosion, and pitting. We will then test the gauge, comparing it to our calibrated gauge to determine accuracy of your pressure canners gauge. The cost is $10 per gauge/canner, which is payable by cash or check. We will do our best to meet your availability, including before or after work Monday-Thursday, with prior arrangement.
