The Beef Weigh-In and Pre-Show will be held on SATURDAY, MARCH 25, 2017 at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds in Ellensburg. The purpose of this show is to weigh and ear tag steers that will be sold at the Kittitas County Junior Livestock Sale at the Kittitas County Fair, to provide an opportunity for exhibitors to learn how to prepare their steer for Fair and to practice showmanship. The first 4-H Horse Judging Contest will be held on Monday, April 3 at 6:00 p.m. at Bloom Pavilion.  There will be Horse Parts work sheet and Oral reasons with the classes still to be determined. **Please note the time change for this judging.  We are starting a half hour earlier.

Kittitas County Llama/Alpaca Pre-Show/Clinic is scheduled for June 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kittitas County Fairground in Bloom Pavilion.  There will be workshops and classes on Fitting and Showing, Trail obstacles, and Public Relations. The first 4-H Horse Judging Contest will be held Monday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Bloom Pavilion. Classes will be: Quarter Horse Geldings Halter Class, Western Pleasure, Western Equitation with Oral Reasons on this class, and a horse parts worksheet.  Junior members will need to match the number to the horse part.  Intermediate and Senior members will need to write the horse part in.  

The Bits and Buckles Open Schooling Show will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Bloom Pavilion on the Kittitas County Fairgrounds.  This is a good show to start the year, gain experience, learn something and have FUN.  For more information contact Bobbi Broderius at 925-3311.
