Lincoln County Spring Showcase General Rules

  1. Learn, have fun, be a good person and role model for others!
  2. All animals must be show broke.
  3. All animals must be in good health. No warts, lice, ring worm, pinkeye, fungus, sore mouth etc. This rule will be enforced for the protection of all animals participating in the show.
  4. Any animal deemed unhealthy or showing signs of contagious diseases will be asked to leave the show and the Fairgrounds.
  5. All animals will be vet checked at weigh-in.
  6. At the discretion of the show vet and superintendents, exhibits may require the removal of animal blankets, sleeves, tubes, wraps or any covering before vet check and weigh-in.
  7. All sheep must be sheared before vet check.
  8. All Washington swine must be tagged with a USDA-approved ID Tag compliant with the June 2023 WSDA Swine ID disease traceability requirement.
  9. Out-of-state exhibitors are required to have health papers submitted at weigh-in and will be collected and retained.
  10. LCSS reserves the right to refuse animals upon arrival based on observation alone.
  11. Animals will not be stalled at the Fairgrounds. Animals need to be maintained and cared for at or in your stock trailer or truck.
  12. Ethical care and treatment of animals will be required.
  13. Each exhibitor will be responsible for cleaning up after their animals including all bedding, feed, and manure.
  14. Please check-in with each species supervisor on arrival and check-out before leaving.
  15. By entering the show, an exhibitor is responsible for any loss, injury, or damage that results to the exhibitor, family member, friends, or animals.
  16. By entering the show, an exhibitor or parent or guardian gives LCSS permission to use all photos taken during the livestock show for promotional purposes.
  17. There are NO Refunds for any entry fees or merchandise.
  18. All LCSS winners need to have a W9 on file with the show office before leaving the show.
  19. Any exhibitor who is found to have falsified or misrepresented their age during the registration process will be immediately disqualified from participating in the show.
  20. The Lincoln County Spring Showcase (LCSS) Committee reserves the final and absolute right to interpret all rules and regulations, arbitrarily settle and determine all matters, questions, and differences regarding or arising out of or connected with the LCSS, and the right to amend or to add to these rules as it is determined necessary. An exhibitor who violates any of the rules will forfeit all privileges and payouts.
