This class will give you the basics for understanding how plants are scientifically classified with taxonomy and an overview of the different plant parts. These are the building blocks for gaining a better grasp for concepts like plant identification and disease diagnoses. The following topics will be presented via lively discussions and hands-on exercises: plant families, cultivars, varieties, plant parts, plant functions, keying, supermarket botany and so much more!
