Location: Closed Loop Park Demonstration Garden, Meet at the Gazebo
This session will focus on the propagation of peonies by dividing them. Learn how to:
- Look for the plants that are ready for dividing
- Where to make divisions in the root
- What to do with the newly divided roots
- How to care for the newly divided plants
The workshop will involve being outside the entire time so please dress accordingly.
The level of activity is light. The surfaces will be paved, gravel, and grass. No need to bring any
tools.
Closed Loop Park is located inside the Thurston County Waste and Recovery Center (WARC) at 2420 Hogum Bay Rd. NE, Lacey WA 98516. Take Exit 111 off of I-5, and travel north then turn right into the WARC entrance. Look for signs. It is east of the dog park (if you are in the dog park parking lot you are in the right place)
