Make & Take Straw Bale Gardening Workshop
April 18, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
freeEveryone who takes the class will walk away with a planted mini-straw bale.
Would you like to garden with little to no weeds, significantly raised garden beds, low start-up costs, no heavy tilling, and many other benefits? Then straw bale gardening (SBG) might be for you!
In this workshop, Karla Salp will teach you the benefits of SBG, how to do it, and tips and tricks for a successful, low maintenance straw bale vegetable and/or flower garden. You’ll also get to plant your own mini straw bale to take home to enjoy throughout the year!
Straw bale gardens are eco-friendly and great options both for those who are interested in just about any type of gardening, including container gardening! Join us for this fun and engaging workshop!
