McLane Creek Trail Maintenance Party

June 15, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

free

We are teamed up with the Steam Team to help maintain the fabulous McLane Creek Nature Trails. We mindfully trim back growth along the trail, pull weeds and clear the paths of any large debris. Stream Team will provide gloves, tools, snacks and refreshments. Volunteers will be issued a free one-day parking pass in lieu of the Discover Pass that is now required at WA State DNR sites. Please help us keep the trails maintained at this local natural gem.
Driving Directions:

From Olympia head west on US 101 for 2 miles, taking the Black Lake Boulevard exit. Proceed left (south) on Black Lake Boulevard. In 3.5 miles the road turns right (west), becoming 62nd Avenue. Continue another 0.7 mile to a stop sign. Turn right on Delphi Road. In 0.5 mile turn left into the McLane Creek Demonstration Forest. Reach the trail head in 0.4 mile. Privy available.
