28th Annual “Great Plants at Great Prices” Plant Sale (Rain or Shine)
May 18th Dirt Works Demonstration Garden inside Yauger Park, Olympia
OLYMPIA – The Master Gardener Foundation of Thurston County is conducting the annual plant sale on Saturday, May 18 from 9am to 4pm. Volunteers can help people chose just the right plants and other items for their landscape.
The “Great plants at Great Prices” sale will be held at the Dirt Works Demonstration Garden in west Olympia. (Located inside Yauger Park near the intersection of Alta St. and Capital Mall Dr. SW in West Olympia). The easiest way to find us is to Google Map “Dirt Works Demonstration Garden”.
The sale features a wide variety of plants including:
- Perennials
- Annuals
- Berries & veggies
- Select trees and flowering shrubs including peonies, hydrangeas and roses
- Native plants
- Unique plants for the plant collector
We will also have the ever popular plant supports/stakes, decorative planters, compost sifters, and an array of garden art/accessories.
We accept cash, check, Visa or MasterCard (debit or credit).
All sale proceeds go toward continued support of Thurston County WSU Extension Master Gardener and Master Recycler Composter community outreach projects. This includes upkeep of three demonstration/learning gardens and free educational programming around the county for youth and adults.
Along with the sale, the Dirt Works demonstration/learning garden will also be open. The Master Recycler Composter volunteers will be available to answer your yard and worm composting questions.
