Local rural residents will host a tour at their farm to highlight land stewardship practices, including agricultural land restoration, protecting their septic system, installing gutters and downspouts on their barn, hedgerows, riparian areas, and enhancing wildlife habitat.

A 10-week in-person class series covering land stewardship topics for rural residents and land managers. The class meets at the 78th St Heritage Farm on Tuesday evenings 6 PM- 8:30 PM starting October 6th.

Learn lime application methods on pastures, as well as techniques for building healthy garden soil.

Learn from small acreage residents about their recognized stewardship practices of riparian forest restoration & water quality improvements.
