Kittitas County Llama/Alpaca Pre-Show/Clinic is scheduled for June 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kittitas County Fairground in Bloom Pavilion. 1st 4-H Horse Judging Contest
The first 4-H Horse Judging Contest will be held Monday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Bloom Pavilion. Classes will be: Quarter Horse Geldings Halter Class, Western Pleasure, Western Equitation with Oral Reasons on this class, and a horse parts worksheet. Junior members will need to match the number to the horse part. Intermediate and Senior members will need to write the horse part in.

The 4-H Bread Baking Contest is scheduled for Saturday, April 7, 2018, starting at 8:30 a.m. until everyone has finished, in the Ellensburg High School Home Economics room. Tip Hudson has gotten permission to use YPQA for this spring and will implement YQCA for 2019. We will recognize any 4-H kids you train as being QA-certified for fair and will send out a notice to that effect. Youth Quality Care of Animals will replace Youth Pork Quality Assurance for the 2019 4-H program year. We will offer YPQA training in winter/spring 2018 as we have in the past.
