The Carcass Awards Program will be held Sunday, October 11, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the Manastash Room at the Fairgrounds/Event Center.  A brief overview of the carcass data will be followed by presentation of awards.

Plates, cups, and utensils will be provided.  There will be a baked potato bar, with potatoes provided. Clubs are asked to bring either cheese, sour cream, or bacon bits, along with a side dish or salad.  Desserts are also needed for the auction.

Non‐point source water quality has always been difficult to assess and correct. The challenge is to promote water quality through watershed health, which requires individual landowners to care well for their own land. To be effective, education and technical assistance must 1) identify and address acute water quality problems and 2) promote management which creates and maintains conditions at the plant‐soil interface to stabilize soil, nutrients, and other substances that are considered pollutants when they are out of place or are present in excess of regulatory thresholds. This one‐day, intensive workshop will…
