Yard/Food Waste Composting and Worm Composting

FreeTo celebrate International Compost Awareness Week (May 1-7, 2022), the Master Recycler Composter Program of Thurston County is hosting 2 in-person workshops on Saturday May 7, 2022 at the Closed Loop Park Demonstration Garden.
- 10-11am, Yard and Food Waste Composting
- 11am-noon, Worm Composting
From 10am to 11am will be a workshop on yard waste composting and from 11am to noon will be a workshop on worm composting. Come for one or both workshops.
The workshops will be held rain or shine. The demonstration garden is outside and has no seating available, but you are welcome to bring your own chair. COVID procedures will be followed.
Workshops are free and open to the public. No advance registration is required for in-person workshops.
