Family STEM Night at Lower Columbia College

Children ages Pre-K through middle school and their families are invited to participate on Friday, September 22, 4 to 7 pm. No pre-registration required

What’s STEM? It’s science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), all packaged in a free, fun, hands-on evening of activities designed for parents and children (ages pre-K to 8th grade). Families will learn about science through fun, hands-on activities, led by community and education professionals who work in careers focused on science, technology, engineering and math.

There is no charge for the event which is part of a Southwest Washington regional initiative to teach critical thinking skills, increase science literacy and develop the next generation of innovators who will produce new products and processes that sustain our economy.
