Trauma 101 Training

October 7, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Register here

Over 33% of Clallam County residents report having 3 or more ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences); research indicates the more “toxic stress” a person has experienced, which can including living through a pandemic, the greater their risk of social, emotional, behavioral, and physical health challenges. Resiliency is an antidote: there is compelling scientific evidence saying that being able to rely on relationships to access resources and support in the moment of need, can transform a potentially toxic experience into a tolerable one. The Clallam Resilience Project is joining our County Commissioners in proclaiming October as Resilience Month and offering a number of supports in this time of need.

The Clallam Resilience Project is offering free trainings for Resilience Month. Apple Heath’s Coordinated Care team will provide 4 virtual trainings surrounding issues of trauma and resiliency. A person can register for one or all of the trainings in the series. Attached is the Resilience Month training flyer (the links are embedded and can be accessed in the pdf), you can access them as Facebook events through our Facebook Page , or register with the links below. Please register and invite your staff and partners.
