The 4-H Horse Council invites you to join us for our monthly 4-H Council meeting, generally held at 6:30 pm on the first Monday of each month. Join the monthly 4-H Council meeting via Zoom or at the WSU Extension office in Elma for in person participation.  All 4-H community members are encouraged to attend and hear updates, ask questions and provide public comment.

    1. Anticipated changes to the State 4-H Fair exhibitor guide and the FairEntry hierarchy at the state level for the 2026 year & any relevant changes that need to be made at the local level – The 4-H State Fair Manager, Kellian, says, “We will be allowing the Small Equine members to choose which level of In Hand Dressage they would like to participate in. They will only be allowed to choose one level.” 
    2. GHC Fair Planning & Preparations – 
      1. Clubs sign up for fair-related tasks to coordinate before or during the county fair
      2. How many horses will each club have?
      3. How many riders will each club have? 

Next Meetings Scheduled for April 6, May 4 and June 1 at 6:30pm (Mandatory for at least one representative from each club planning to exhibit equine at the county fair
