Grays Harbor 4-H Horse Council Agenda

The 4-H Horse Council invites you to join us for our monthly 4-H Council meeting, generally held at 6:30 pm on the first Monday of each month. Join the monthly 4-H Council meeting via Zoom or at the WSU Extension office in Elma for in person participation.  All 4-H community members are encouraged to attend and hear updates, ask questions and provide public comment.

August 10, 2026 Agenda

  1. Call to Order – Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H Pledge – Attendance
  2. Welcome Visitors & Guests – opportunity for public comment (three minutes or less)
  3. Approval of previous minutes – Ranie
  4. Treasurer’s Report – Brittany & Harley $_________________ expenses  $_______________________ balance
  5. Extension Report  – New 4-H year begins 10/1, Celebrate our Kids 11/12,  Record book and year pins deadlines- more info to follow.

  7. General Council Report – July’s meeting was focused on County Fair preparations, August’s meeting will be focused on the new 4-H year planning and the Celebrate our Kids event.

    • State Fair Decorations- new flag stands will be ready for implementation.
    • Bank Signers – Update/Revise signers of Timberland Bank checking acct in the Fall for new 4-H year.
    • Congratulations to Memorial Awards recipients.

    • Schedule 2026-2027 yearly planning session for potential show dates, workshop series, etc.
    • FairEntry status
    • State Team Jackets – Andrea has collected sizes.
